Join Holy Ventures as we partner with Hope of the Poor for a powerful week of mission, pilgrimage, and spiritual renewal in Mexico City. Missionaries will stay near the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe and experience daily Mass, Eucharistic Adoration, prayer, and time at the Basilica. This cultural immersion mission week is designed to stretch your heart, deepen your faith, and awaken a radical love for Christ and the poor. Participants will work directly with those living in extreme poverty — bringing hope to the unloved and forgotten. The week also includes a guided tour to some unique landmarks in Mexico City.

MISSION TRIP RECAP
The Spirit was moving on this inaugural Holy Ventures mission trip! We worked alongside Glenmary Home Missioners at Joppa Mountain on various projects for the local community, including constructing a wheelchair ramp, preparing food at a food bank, and building a shed. Our priest for the trip, Fr. Henry Hoffmann, gave wonderful reflections on how God wants us to discern life decisions, attachment styles, staying close to Eucharist, and how we find what we seek. We celebrated Mass both outdoors and in a local church. There was so much joy and laughter amongst missionaries, as well as connection with the Joppa Mountain community. It was wonderful to pray, serve, and grow in community with one another. We pray for the people we served in Tennessee, as well as the grace to bring the spirit of mission back to our homes, family, friends, and parishes. Until next time, Joppa Mountain.
