Ora et Labora Day with the Carmelite Daughters of Elias

Spend the day with us and the Carmelite Daughters of Elias at their farm just 30 minutes east of Cincinnati. This day will focus on ora et labora (prayer and work)… with some fun mixed in, of course! We’ll begin with Holy Mass, followed by coffee and a light breakfast before rolling up our sleeves for some hands-on service around the farm. We’ll enjoy lunch and a witness talk, Eucharistic Adoration, and opportunities for Confession. We’ll finish the day with a celebration complete with games, snacks, and opportunities to connect with the sisters and other young adults. Lenten Retreat and Mission with the Nashville Dominicans

Spend a Lenten weekend in Nashville centered on prayer, service, community, and adventure! Friday begins with a retreat at our accommodations, Camp Marymount, including Mass, Adoration, and spiritual talks, followed by time for adventure! Saturday will be spent with the Dominican Sisters of St. Cecilia, with Mass, hands-on mission work at their ministry farm, prayer, a spiritual talk, and a tour of their Motherhouse. Sunday wraps up with Mass, a closing talk, and time exploring Nashville together!
Appalachia Mission Trip with Glenmary Missioners

Camino de Santiago, Spain

Walk the Camino de Santiago on a 7-day pilgrimage rooted in prayer, the Sacraments, community, and adventure! In partnership with Seton Teaching Fellows, we’ll begin in Porto, Portugal, before traveling to Valença to start our 100+ km journey on foot, crossing into Spain and following the historic Portuguese Way to the Cathedral of St. James in Santiago de Compostela. Chicago Mission Weekend

Holy Ventures is returning to Chicago to serve alongside the Franciscan Sisters of the Eucharist at Our Lady of the Angels! This year, we’ll help host a Back-to-School block party for local families, giving away hundreds of backpacks and school supplies to children as they prepare for a new school year. Throughout the weekend, we’ll serve alongside the Sisters, spend time in daily Mass, Adoration, and prayer, and build authentic Catholic community with young adults from across the country. We’ll wrap up the weekend with time to explore and adventure in downtown Chicago together! Come ready to pray, serve, celebrate, and adventure while bringing joy to families in the heart of Chicago.
Denver Mission Trip with Christ in the City

We’re going west! Join us in Denver, Colorado, serving alongside Christ in the City and encountering Christ in those experiencing homelessness. We’ll help prepare and serve food for lunch in the park, sharing a meal and building relationships with our brothers and sisters on the streets. We’ll also make a pilgrimage to the Mother Cabrini Shrine in Golden, CO and spend a full day hiking and adventuring in the Rocky Mountains. Throughout the trip, our days will be rooted in daily Mass, Adoration, prayer, and reflections, creating space to encounter Christ through service, pilgrimage, adventure, and authentic Catholic community.
Mexico City Mission Trip and Pilgrimage

To close out 2027, Holy Ventures is heading south of the border to Mexico City once again. If you ask our former Mexico missionaries, working with Hope of the Poor means a powerful week of mission, pilgrimage, and spiritual renewal in Mexico City. Missionaries will stay near the Basilica of Our Lady of Guadalupe and experience daily Mass, Eucharistic Adoration, prayer, and time at the Basilica. This cultural immersion mission week is designed to stretch our hearts, deepen our faith, and awaken a radical love for Christ and the poor. Participants will work directly with those living in extreme poverty — bringing hope to the unloved and forgotten. The week also includes a guided tour to some unique landmarks in Mexico City.
